I am using the lastest Raspbian image and I have installed gstreamer to my Raspberry Pi. Stream works, but hangs after a while.

With the pipeline below, I am both streaming video over tcpsink and saving the current screenshot to the ramdisk

gst-launch -v v4l2src device=/dev/video0 ! videorate ! video/x-raw-yuv, width=320, height=240, framerate=5/1 ! tee name=tp tp. ! queue ! videobalance saturation=0.0 ! queue ! jpegenc ! multipartmux ! tcpserversink host= port=3434 tp. ! queue ! jpegenc ! multifilesink location=/tmp/webcam1.jpeg

This stream works a while but after that it hangs and sends the same frame to the stream server (VLC). I could not find the reason behind why stream hangs.

I tried this script on my dell laptop with ubuntu 12.10 and I never faced with any hangs. On my laptop, stream never hangs.

I am wondering about why stream hangs in raspberry and how can I prevent it?
