I'm currently running VLC on the latest version of raspbian, on a Raspberry Pi 3 model B+. I have a Seeed 10.1 inch IPS display connected to it via HDMI.

To get the Seeed working correctly, I followed their documentation to add the following to the config.txt:

force_trubo=1
gpu_freq=300
core_freq=400
hdmi_pixel_freq_limit=400000000
hdmi_drive=2
hdmi_mode=87
disable_overscan=1

# 10.1 inch
hdmi_timings=1200 0 100 24 52 1920 0 65 4 25 0 0 0 60 0 169000000 0
max_framebuffer_width=1920
max_framebuffer_height=1920
display_rotate=3
framebuffer_width=1920
framebuffer_height=1200

The display works, but if I try to play any videos via VLC, sometimes the video will look fine in a window, but when going to full screen, the video will only display in the bottom left corner or just half the screen, with the rest of the video cropped off. Sometimes this happens in windowed mode as well. I've played with the display options and have tried different output types, but can't seem to get video to display correctly.
