I am a newbie to Linux and Remmina. Just got a Rasberry Pi 4 with Rasbian and trying to get away from Windows. I do have to connect to an https: windows server via RDP and I am not sure how to do this. I have tried everything I could but keeps on getting the unable to find the address of RDP server https.

Settings are as follows: Protocol: RDP Nothing in pre and post command

Basic Server: https://cloud.x.com/rdweb/feed/webfeed.aspx (x being the full server name) Username: rmasp2\x Password: xxxxxx Domain: empty

Please help!!! Thanks, Wayne

  • But RDP is not open, not to mention it is not linux. Remmina supports SSH. Why not use it? – tlfong01 Sep 10 at 0:43
  • Welcome to Raspberry Pi :-) But your question does not belong to Raspberry Pi. It is a general question how to connect a Linux box to a MS Window$ server using its Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). So I will only give some hints by this comment. RDP is an own protocol and has nothing to do with html. You have to use a RDP client on the Linux box to connect to the Windows Server. There are some linux clients available. I prefer rdesktop. Just install it with sudo apt install rdesktop and look at man rdesktop and maybe at /usr/share/doc/rdesktop. – Ingo Sep 10 at 8:53
