Good evening all. I have been working on a project involving the official Raspberry Pi 7" touch screen display and now it has spontaneously failed and will only display a white screen.

My Screen Connected To Pi A+

I have already found similar posts on the internet but they all suggest that the issue is down to drivers. Due to the fact that it just stopped working suddenly, this seems unlikely. I have also tried multiple ribbon cables, Pis and SD cards. The device seemed to fail while I was working around the ribbon cable connection to the Pi so it is possible that this was dislodged or bent - I am still unsure why this would have caused such an issue though. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
