I have followed the steps in prior answers and still no sound. Also, when I launch GQRX I get the following error: libEGL warning: DRI2: failed to authenticate
Sometimes GQRX will start after the error and plays a good wave form on a known strong station (FM radio) for testing. I have also gone to an Internet audio test page and can see the speakers playing but get no audio. I have used my phone to test the powered speakers and they are fine. I have turned volume all the way up on the volume control on the right side of the task bar. I have turned the volume all the way up on Preferences - Audio Device Settings. I am running Raspian. I have selected Analog as the choice when I right-click the volume control. My monitor is SVGA and I use a converter cable to enable the monitor to function through the HDMI port.
