I've recently been trying to use my raspberry pi as an audiobook server so I can store and listen to audiobooks from different devices in my home. I've tried a few things (plex and other similar solutions) however I have yet to find success deploying a solution that can save my progress through books across devices. I think Booksonic is what I am looking for but I'm having difficulty installing it. I have docker installed on the pi and have a basic understanding of what docker is and how it works but I'm lost on the steps I need to take to deploy it.

All help is appreciated :) thanks.

  • What exactly is the problem? Where does installation of Booksonic fails? What does Booksonic do? – Ingo Dec 30 '20 at 11:45
