I corrupted an RPI SD card earlier with rubbish FSTAB, wouldnt boot, couldnt edit, mounted rw, FSTAB read-only. Got tired of trying so stuck in a new OS and plugged old image into USB. Now i have 2 options in order of preference:-
- open FSTAB and fix it (use tabs instead of spaces dummy!) but dont know where to find file
- or retrieve the python files from old sd image - no idea where to find these?

edit - i copied the broken image to smaller sd card IE 64gb to 4gb. not sure if that affects it?
edit - now i'm thinking i bet i dont have both partitions on the old sd?
