A bit like this question, but different... I bought this display and the MIPI to HDMI board. It all connects fine, but I get nothing on the display. The board is getting power (green led), but I don't see any sign that the display is getting data (or even power). I may need to try to get a driver that works with it and the pi is just never seeing the display, but I can't tell. I ran a raylib python program that detected a screen (although the size was wrong) so I think it is registering that there is a screen on the other end of the HDMI connection. I'm also making this nice and difficult -- I'm running Tiny Core. I also tried a standard desktop raspian OS and still didn't have any success. I've looked through the boot log, dmesg, and syslog and am not seeing anything that looks like a display error. I also enabled hdmi_safe=1 in /safe/config.txt. I've never tried to work with a raw and non-standard display like this before, so any guidance on debugging, getting drivers, etc. is much appreciated.
