I received the following error whilst installing wpasupplicant
$ sudo apt-get install wpasupplicant Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Before attempting the installation I first ran apt-get update / apt-get dist-upgrade / sudo rpi-update (followed by a reboot). These all finished without any problems.
Installing wpasupplicant manually via also did not work:
wget http://security.debian.org/debian-security/pool/updates/main/w/wpa/wpasupplicant_1.0-3+deb7u4_armhf.deb sudo dpkg -i wpasupplicant_1.0-3+deb7u4_armhf.deb
Suggestions are welcome.
