I use this command to record a video:

ffmpeg -f video4linux2 -r 25 -s 640x480 -i /dev/video0 out.avi

Now. I have out.avi in my /home/pi directory.

I then used the command to play the video:

omxplayer /home/pi/out.avi

But it said:

Video codec omx-mpeg4 width 2304 height 1296 profile 0 fps 23.000000

Subtitle count:0, state:off, index:1, delay: 0

What does this mean?

I tried to record a mp4 video:

ffmpeg -f video4linux2 -r 25 -s 640x480 -i /dev/video0 video.mp4

As I was recording it, it kept saying past duration 10.99992 too large. And then Killed.

When I tried to play it:

omxplayer /home/pi/video.mp4

It said have a nice day :)
