I'm sorry for the noobie question. I'm following the digital library tutorial from "https://learn.adafruit.com/digital-free-library". Currently I am using a Raspberry Pi Zero W and connecting through usb as an Ethernet connection. Whenever I change the settings in /etc/network/interfaces I stop being able to ssh through the wired connection. (https://learn.adafruit.com/digital-free-library/configure-access-point this step). Clearly I don't understand something here and could really use some advice about what's going on if possible?

Thank you for what assistance you can give me.

  • these days, /etc/network/interfaces is very rarely (if ever) touched (I could be mistaken when it comes to creating an access point) - you should look for a tutorial for Raspbian Stretch, rather than Jessie (which those two seem to be referring to) – Jaromanda X Sep 4 '18 at 2:11
