I have been trying to clone my bootable usb pen drive to microsd card. I have been using usb pen drive for RPI3, But facing Power Issues, Pen drive is consuming more power hence i want to move to MicroSD Card without loosing any current data.

How can i clone different hardwares (usb --> microsd)

I tried AOIMEI Disk Backkupper but i am getting "random: crng init done" and PI Stucks...at boot

Please advice.

  • What operating system you are using? Is it Raspbian with the first boot partition in fat32 and the second root partition in ext4? – Ingo Sep 18 '18 at 10:00
  • OP posted his / her own solution at raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=222881 (using rpi-clone) – Dirk Sep 18 '18 at 11:26
  • I don't think it's possible to say what's wrong with an unknown image cloned to a different media. For example, did any configuration files refer to /dev/sdX partitions? You'll have to edit them to refer to /dev/mmcblk0pX instead. – Dmitry Grigoryev Sep 27 '18 at 13:15
