I have a project which requires wireless video transmission I also use arduino there but to control motors, it uses hc 12. And I am wondering if I can stream real Tim video to pc. I can use another RPI connected to the computer and the other to the project if necessary.
Default wifi is specified for a free distance of 300 m. I have seen a project using standard wifi 2,4 GHz where they span about 2 km but they have taken very much effort to realize this with beam radio and special self made direct antennas. There must be clear view between the antennas, not even a tree must be there. Your distance is shorter but you want to transfer live stream. It may be possible to realize this, maybe with reduced resolution but it seems not to be easy and I believe you cannot do it with standard components. It's more a project for enthusiasts.
If you're planning to use such system in place where mobile broadband is available (3G, 4G preferable) then it's easier to buy modem dongles and to stream video with the help of mobile internet. No such a mess as with Wi-Fi link
