I compiled my own client of owncloud using owncloud doc

  • Addd repo to apt /etc/apt/sources.list.d/owncloud-client.list

    deb-src http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/isv:/ownCloud:/desktop/Debian_9.0/ /

  • sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get build-dep owncloud-client

  • git clone git://github.com/owncloud/client.git
  • cd client
  • git checkout master
  • git submodule init
  • git submodule update
  • mkdir client-build
  • cd client-build
  • cmake -DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH=/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/qt5 -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/local/ -DNO_SHIBBOLETH=1 ..``
  • make && sudo make install
  • Get some warnings

Note that '/home/pi/client/install/share' is not in the search path set by the XDG_DATA_HOME and XDG_DATA_DIRS environment variables, so applications may not be able to find it until you set them. The directories currently searched are:

    • /root/.local/share
    • /usr/local/share/
    • /usr/share/
  • Verifiy installation binaries

    ls -lisah /usr/local/bin/owncloud* 3522 4.9M -rwxr-xr-x 1 root staff 4.9M Oct 3 19:13 /usr/local/bin/owncloud 3472 200K -rwxr-xr-x 1 root staff 199K Oct 3 19:14 /usr/local/bin/owncloudcmd

  • Try execute

/usr/local/bin/owncloudcmd /usr/local/bin/owncloudcmd: error while loading shared libraries: libowncloud_csync.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
