Could anybody please help me with the Linux equivalent of this python script?

import os, time, subprocess
a=0

while True:
    p=subprocess.Popen('C:\Program Files\PuTTY\putty.exe -load "TEST"')
    time.sleep(3600)
    p.terminate()
    time.sleep(5)
    a+=1
    print(a)

    This is not a code writing service. The script makes little sense. Why not ask about what you are ACTUALLY trying to do – Milliways Dec 7 '18 at 11:15

    Linux equivalent of python is python. Linux equivalent of PuTTY is ssh and/or scp with some options set, depending on what you're trying to do with your "TEST" profile -- this should be your actual question, which may not be directly Raspberry Pi related. – Roger Jones Dec 7 '18 at 12:03
  • I try collect data from another device in raw connection type , make a logfile, and every 3600 sec close putty and reconnect – J.Doe Dec 7 '18 at 12:35

    You can run the ssh command from a Linux command line. You can write bash or python scripts round that. PuTTY is just a convenient way to get a GUI based SSH session from a Windows system. – Dougie Dec 7 '18 at 13:07
