I built an arcade cabinet using a Raspberry pi running RetroPie. This is a single player configuration but my button set came with 2 usb boards that simulate two Dragon joysticks. (js1 and js2) So I want to use the second joystick for the control functions, Coin, 1 player, 2 player (for hotseat games like pacman), exit to attractmode, save, load, etc.

I can map all the buttons to functions in attract mode but retroarch wont let me map the buttons from the second joystick to coin or player1 so I have no way to start a game. My Joystick and regular game buttons are mapped to js1.

I would like to find a solution that will let me map the 2nd joystick buttons to keyboard keys as these control functions all have keyboard triggers. Such as '5' for coin.

Here is what I have found so far. jslisten will map a button to run a script file but only supports the first joystick.

Joy2Key, Qjoypad, & antimicro require X11 (Not installed on my system) If someone knows this to be wrong let me know but from what I can tell this looks to be the case.
