After getting my Raspberry Pi 3 B+ setup on the sticky fingers Kali Pi OS I tried to get x11vnc running off it. Following the tutorial found here...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVUsOMKGvpU

I was able to connect to it in Real VNC Viewer, but after terminating the process x11vnc would no longer respond and Real VNC was unable to connect.

Sorry if this is the wrong question to be asking in this community. I was unsure whether to post this.

Update:

I left x11vnc -ncache 10 -auth guess -nap -forever -loop -repeat -rfbauth /root/.vnc/passwd -rfbport 5900 running in a terminal on the pi and after a while it returned a string of error messages...

    /usr/local/bin/x11vnc: 2: /usr/local/bin/x11vnc: Cannot fork

With the last error mesagge repeating itself off into distance.
