My purpose with flooding another device is to see the maximum traffic that the sender can generate with the hping3:

sudo hping3 --flood -d 65495 192.168.0.3

I tested it with gigabit Ethernet adaptor to the usb 2.0 of the RPi (speeds up to 480 Mbps) and the result is around 160 Mbps.

But if I launched 3 threads doing the same the result is 263 Mbps (and with 4 and 5 threads so it is supposed to be the maximum output traffic for the sender).

So the question is, if the flood is supposed to send the data as fast as possible, why with one thread it doesn't get the maximum output traffic?
