I am trying to redirect a client on node web server once connected to the RPI accesspoint. I am using hostapd as the access point on my RPI stretch. My goal is for a client's browser to open to my server address page once connected to the RPI access point.

My hostapd in /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf

`interface=wlan0
 driver=nl80211
 ssid=RPiHotSpot
 hw_mode=g channel=6
 wmm_enabled=0
 macaddr_acl=0
 auth_algs=1
 ignore_broadcast_ssid=0
 wpa=2
 wpa_passphrase=1234567890
 wpa_key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
 wpa_pairwise=TKIP
 rsn_pairwise=CCMP

 #this last line is what I am curious about internetworking
 network_auth_type=02http://192.168.60.14:8001/`

I am going through hostapd reference looking at internetworking http redirection. Does this effect RPI being able to enable access point? I have added a few combinations of hostapd set ups with at the end.

interworking=1
network_auth_type=02http://192.168.60.14:8001

or

interworking=1
access_network_type=4
network_auth_type=02http://192.168.60.14:8001

This addition disables my wlan0 from getting an ip address. When I check with ifconfig there is no ip address. I can't seem to find many use cases of the interworking being used in Hostapd configuration.
