I'm trying to make a sine wave generator using a Raspberry Pi. I need an sine wave(1Vpp) with user supplied frequency riding on a 4V DC bias. The SoX package seems useful to generate sine waves and output them through the audio port. But I want a realtime continuous generator-is there any way to play a generated file on loop? And how do I introduce the DC bias?

Thanks a lot for your help!!
