Is it possible to capture 5 jpeg images per second from a purethermal 2 stream with opencv or another way on a raspberry pi for a set amount of time? If so how?

(I have a FLIR lepton 3.5 on the purethermal 2)

  • Your question is unrelated with the raspberry pi, it is related to Linux in general. It should be possible. Load raspbian on RaspberryPi, clone the https://github.com/groupgets/purethermal1-uvc-capture repo and alter the python/opencv-capture.py code to save the images every 1000/5 ms instead of showing them as a video stream. – GramThanos Apr 11 at 22:50
