Controlling and Powering 12v LEDs

OK - several things to unpack here... 1. "6 weatherproof LEDs on the box to show status, and the only ones I can find are 12v 15mA" 12V LEDs do not exist. The items you've found are designed ...

sysfs pwm: corresponding pins and LED driving

PWM0 is GPIO 12 or 18 (as the link you posted shows). The same signal can be on either or both. You only need 1 channel to control a LED. It is unclear how you plan to use PWM (there are only a few ...

Controlling and Powering 12v LEDs

To drive 12V or other such devices from GPIO, maybe use the common ULN2003 chip, which does what R2 + Q1 in @Seamus answer does, but with 7 outputs in one chip, so all you need is the output resistor ...

ACT LED stops blinking, Raspberry Pi booting and reading from card as always

I found the reason, the resistor connected to the LED fell off (I checked the diagram is 1kOhm). I had to accidentally hook it or it was poorly soldered to the board.

ACT LED stops blinking, Raspberry Pi booting and reading from card as always

I ran external led on GPIO and it flashing. Presumably you mean, you found it flashing at points when the ACT led wouldn't. The problem with this is that the ACT led only flashes when there is ...
