Rpi Pico Thonny Micropython Setting Up With Rpi4B/Windows PC Problem

Update Your thonny to latest version from https://github.com/thonny/thonny/releases I am using 3.3.3 and it is showing Raspberry Pi Pico.

Pico W Push Button not turning on the onboard LED

It looks as thought your header pins are not soldered onto the Pico. You will not get good contact unless you solder the header pins to the pico.

New Raspberry Pi Pico disconnects during MicroPython installation

As @tlfong01 pointed out, this appears to be a Windows related issue. I "solved" it in the simplest possible way: by using a notebook running Linux to connect with the Pico.
