I am trying to make a camera turn on and off with the press of a button, but the GPIO ports are not working, and it is not acknowledging the button
You need to setup GPIO24 as output at the start of your code:
GPIO.setup(24, GPIO.OUT)

I am using Raspberry pi 4b, when I try to connect with wifi a problem could not communicate with wpa_supplicant
OMV installs systemd-networkd and disables dhcpcd. Whatever you had before (which you have not detailed) is irrelevant.
You need to use OMV to setup networking.
