I don't have numbers for you, but an i series desktop processor will run circles around the pi. Honestly, the metrics are so skewed that they don't matter outside of being mildly interesting.
@ScottN: Sure, I guess. Filling in the ports with epoxy would solve that issue, but really... if someone has that level of physical access to the device, all other security considerations are more or less moot anyway.
@RAS: Most things are possible, but it's unlikely you're going to want to go that route. It would still involve a lot of custom C code and then pairing it with the existing library somehow.
